FLOWER Drew Barrymore's new Makeup Line

I finally got my hands on the new Flower collection, and must I say, the packaging is absolutely adorable!! Drew Barrymore recently launched her new drugstore makeup line, and as of now I believe they are only available in stores and online at Walmart.

The collection consists of several face, lips, eyes and nail products. Since Drew always has a fresh face and bright lips I knew I had to try her lipsticks. There are three different types of kiss sticks, the Lip Butter, the Velvet Lip color and the High Shine lip color. She also has a lip liner, a lip gloss and these Petite Fleur Pocket Triplets which are 3 mini stackable lipsticks. I decided to only picked up the Velvet ones for now.

You can see the full range of her collection here

This what I picked up,

Isn't the packaging super cute! Especially the loose powder, I may just put it on my vanity as decoration :D

Kiss Sticks: Velvet Lip Color
They swatch really nicely, smooth and pigmented

From left to Right
Dahlia Dalhling, Camelia Charm, So Gladiola,
Whoops sorry guys, switched the two swatches
(L to R: Dahlia Dalhling, So Gladiola, Camelia Charm)

Shadow Play: Eyeshadow Quad
Probably my favorite item of the whole collection. They are extremely soft and pigmented, comparable to urban decay's eye shadows. A little pricey for a drugstore quad but definitely worth the money. Also, the quads have a magnetic closure as opposed to a snap closure. Doesn't bother me but its different so I thought I'd let y'all know.

Shadow Play: Foxy Browns

Shadow Play: Smoke and Mirrors

Win Some Rouge Some: Creme Blush
Super soft and creamy, seems blendable, have yet to try them on
From Left to Right
Primrose & Proper, Forget-me-not, Peach Blossom

Powder Up: Loose Powder
Isn't the packaging super cute! The color seems a bit too dark to use as a setting powder, so I'll be trying it as a light foundation. The powder is really soft so I hope it works well, If not I will keep it for decor.

Hey guys!
So yesterday I found this perfectly round plush dandelion outside my house and it inspired me to do a dandelion inspired spring nail design. The main polish I used was Frisky by Orly which I picked up at Ulta.
Hope y'all like it!

Here I am with the dandelion :)

Here's what I used
Essie Grow Stronger Base Coat
Nails Inc. LONDON Caviar Top Coat
Orly Frisky 40095
Essie Blanc
OPI Black Onyx

Fashion Obsession: #Putabowonit!

Spring is just around the corner and I'm transitioning out of my cold weather grunge style into flirty preppy fun spring clothing, and right now I am lovinggg bows!! I've always loved them but with the launch of one of my favorite designer's new spring line I have rediscovered a fun classy twist on a girly favorite. Kate Spade's new line of dresses, shoes, bags and accessories virtually put a bow on everything. It is all so adorable I don't think I'll be able to resist. Here are some of my favorites

Karolina Bow
Bow Tie Cora Dress
Billie Dress
Hope Avenue Attie Crossbody
Skinny Mini Bow Studs
Skinny Mini Bow Bangle

NARS: And God Created The Woman Eye Kit

I recently decided to splurge on an impulse buy and get the new Sephora exclusive NARS And God Created The Woman Eye Kit. So impressed by it! I was browsing around Sephora and this little pallet caught my eye. They swatch really nicely and I fell in love with the neutral colors; the shimmery one are not overly shimmery and they blend really well together. After testing them out, they not only blend really well but last a long time. Although they are not as soft as the Urban Decay shadows and require a little more work on application but the colors are super buildable and blendable so it hasn't been a problem.

The kit includes the eye shadow pallet, a mini #3 eye shadow brush and a mini pro-prime smudge proof eye shadow base.

The colors in the pallet are (from left to right, top to bottom)
Alhambra, Bellisima, Kalahari, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, and Night Clubbing

My favorites are probably Kalahari, Galapagos and Coconut Grove, they are perfect for doing a smokey eye. As you can tell I've used Kalahari quite a bit :P
